I recently finished my collection of Series 1 which includes Spidey, Black Costume Spidey, Green Goblin, Hulk, Iron Man, Wolverine, Storm, and Cyclops. They look to be stylized after the Toki Doki Marvel artwork. If you collected the Toki Doki Marvel t-shirts they released last year, you’ll most likely want to pick up some of these minis too, amirite?

I recently finished reading Superior by Mark Millar. For those that don’t know Millar’s work, he’s the writer of Kick-Ass, Wanted, The Ultimates, Old Man Logan and plenty other great comics. Superior is essentially his love letter to the Richard Donner Superman films. Its a superhero take on the movie Big with Tom Hanks, and even mentions it in the first issue. Millar’s cinematic style of writing always hits home with me. Every cliffhanger and joke is a movie moment that holds the nostalgic charm of an 80s classic. If you’re looking for a self-contained story that delivers like a good Marvel movie, give Superior a read.

I picked up this miniature of the Spider-man 3 movie poster by Chozoukei Damashii today. I remember when this image first came out in 2006, I was so pumped for the movie. Its too bad they botched it and made Venom such a throw-away character. But still, I love this image. The detail on this thing is amazing, it stands just a little over 2 inches tall.
